Pride

Wilton knew that he had made a lot of mistakes in his life-time. He knew of each and every one and fully admitted to them all.

There were however a few things he was proud of.

The first, and most important was his little Jenny. He suspected Jennifer probably took after him and rubbed people the wrong way more often than not. But he was mighty proud of his daughter. She never shied away from adversity (if sometimes to the extreme) and was blunt, forward, and yes, a lot like Wilton. Jennifer always strove to do what she felt was right, and for that her father was very proud indeed. (He did think that perhaps she might be a bit happier if she dropped the ice-princess routine.)

Also on his list was Michael Knight. Michael had chosen to live out Wilton's dream, and he was very proud of the younger man for it. (He was a bit eager to see how that was working out. Death put a slight damper on things.)

Though he hadn't met formally, he suspected he'd be quiet proud of the Knight Industries Two-Thousand as well. In point of fact, Wilton realized he hadn't even gotten a chance to say 'hello'. He had relied on Devon's word (which he trusted beyond all others). Once again, dying had gotten in the midst of his plans.

The last item on his 'proud of' list would be FLAG and all those who worked there. A remarkable group, even the lawyers, which as a rule, he usually detested with a passion.

Yes, there were many things indeed he was proud of.

He only wished he could of added one more name to the list...
