So, here we go again. Another time, but it feels the same. Got sick of waiting here. Set sail on concrete wings. No survivors left to save. Too late for the walking dead. We'll make it on our own. Breathing our own air cuz no one else will care. Yeah, no one really knows. Need more room to shout. Time is running out. But even through your doubts we will still be here. We will See it all, I see. And I still kill... still kill the old way. I'm gunna die before I fall. Don't try to save me. Moving on to a different place. People hide but I see the face. The one that's full of hate. Their apathy's not affecting us. Maybe they ride on a different bus. Realize that we'll never change.
I'm not sure if those lyrics are right. I looked up one of the lines on a lyric site because I could understand what he was saying, and their words were a little different. But I kept listening to it over and over and although some of theirs were right, most of mine were right... so this is pretty accurate =). Anyway, IT'S OPENING NIGHT!!! Weeeeeeeeeeeeeee. I'm excited. I'm just a little scared that I'm not going to get all my people done before showtime and I'll end up being the person who ruins the whole show. I still had like 3 people to do yesterday when they told us we had half an hour until curtain and I was still doing my last person 10 minutes after we were SUPPOSED to start. But then again, I did get there a little late. And half my people didn't show up until an hour before curtain. I don't know, hopefully it will run more smoothly tonight.
Man, I don't understand my Mother. I love her with all my heart, but gosh. This morning I told her about Jessica's party and she didn't say no... I was so sure she was going to say no right of the bat so she caught me off gaurd when she just nodded and asked where it was. She didn't really give me an answer, but she didn't say no, and that usually means yes. She won't ever tell me whether or not I can go, but she usually ends up just taking me. I guess she thinks that I assume I'm always going to get my way. Of course, I'd be upset if she had said no, but it wouldn't have shocked me. Actually, it shocked me that she didn't. But I'm still not going to get my hopes up. I have banquet for dance team that night at 7:30, so I don't know. She might say it's too much trouble. She's probably going to have to pick me up early from the play (hopefully I can get all my people's makeup done before I leave, but if not I'm going to have to see if someone can cover for me) and then go to banquet. Both her and Patrick are coming with me to banquet. And then my sister is coming down later. Gosh, I just don't know. If my sister doesn't get here before banquet, one of them will have to stay home and wait for her. Either that or leave the door unlocked. I don't know. With all this mess, she probably won't let me go to the party. Especially because she knows she'll be putting a LOT of trust in me by letting me go and for the simple fact that I'm kinda grounded. However, this would be the perfect opportunity to prove myself to her and earn her trust... ^-^ I just don't know.
Got more minutes on my phone yesterday. Jennifer took me to Wal-Mart and I got a $10 card. The guy there kept asking me if I wanted the new flip phone they had just gotten in... it was tempting, and I had enough money, but I knew my mom would get PISSED, so I had to say no. I called the number on the card and did what the recording told me to, but I guess I didn't do it right because it fucked up and switched me over to the customer service line. The dude I talked to acted like I was a complete idiot. I gave him the wrong number and he started to get aggitated. He was rude and made me feel really dumb. He asked for the service number and I when I asked him which one that was (there were two numbers) he got snappy and said it was the one with 10 digits. THEY BOTH HAD TEN DIGITS!!! =( He made me feel stupid. But he fixed it for me and now I have 50 minutes on my phone. That made me happy... but my battery was low so when Kevin called me at 9, it died on me. I kept trying to call him back on the school phone, but no one answered... maybe because they didn't recognize the number... or he was trying to call me at the exact same time... *shrugs*
Well, kids, I'm done. ^-^ Oh, and another thing I'm thankful for: random acts of kindness that always make people's day.
