As the Seasons Change

Jul 04, 2004 02:06

(this one is complete. Thanks to my friend Jordan for helping me get the last few parts.)

As the seasons change,
my love for you does too.
In the spring it's red,
and in the winter blue.

As springtime comes,
my love for you is new.
It's only just begun,
and seems so real and true.

Summer ascends,
love in full bloom.
I don't think I could live,
a day without you.

Things begin to turn,
as Autumn comes anew.
My love for you is diminishing,
slowly bleeding through.

Winter blows in,
freezing blood to ice.
Our relationship's expired,
unlike you're lingering lies.

All you're selfish lies,
clouding up my mind.
Transforming my view,
just like season's do.

I thought we'd last forever,
like I wish summer could.
Too bad you fucked it up,
I'm better off without you.
