This must be what it feels like to be my friends, who have continually watched me hurt myself over and over. I have a pension for distruction, and will break myself apart it anyway possible. I like to hurt ( Read more... )

Sylvia and I used to get long cups of coffee and stay awake until the wee hours searching for mushrooms and validation that we were somehow significant, would that she had planned her escape a little better and maybe she could have been a guiding light for those of us left behind in the wake.

I can't say why i would want to be a man for you, at least not here on public forum, but if you'd like, we can either talk about it or you can ask me to write it in a letter for you- i assure you it is more complicated than the dogma that tries to tell people that a man and a woman is the only valid union. It actually has less to do with that and more to do with the feeling of it, if you know an inkling of what i mean?

anyways---
i don't know if they are afraid of us or if they are simply just too lazy to be more then themselves. Most of the guys i know don't want to be tied down to something or have someone in their lives that they are responsible for. They want to party and chase tail and be boys forever; they want to be selfish and taken care of; they don't see themselves having anything in place to begin a family with nor any path to build such things; many men i know have bum jobs that barely pay them enough to survive; and in the instances not, when they have the kinds of jobs that one income could support a wife and child- they either have long term relationships that will lead to marriage or are married already. Men like that don't go for girls like us, they go for the trophy- and that is such a truism still to this day.

we just have to keep moving forward, pass all of these excuses and insecurities and pray that somewhere along the path we find someone who we can actually walk beside. and maybe that he can play guitar. cause that would be hot. ^_^

oh good question. forget the tux, we can play dress up in our most sophiscated outfits. it's not a gala, so real formal dress isn't required, but what fun is going to the opera if you don't get gussyed up a bit!
