 I’m not
I'm not trying to save the world. I just never knew what "making the world a better place for the next generation " meant  until recently. I love kids, but its different when you are close to them. When you want them to have all the best things in life, when no matter what mood you are in, hearing them laugh just makes everything better.

I never understood, until now, what giving a fuck meant. And I do. I give a fuck. On a global level.

Which is why, as of thursday, I will be turning my proprosal into the Student Activities Comitee, for a Darfur awareness program.

Because changes= CHANGE, i.e.- small change equals out to a big change.

Because we aren't talking an isolated incident, but goverment sponsered and sanctioned genocide.

This is a human rights issue. And it starts, as cliche as it is, with us.

A brillant idea struck me in the shower today ( and it hurt too! lol)

I had been thinking back to Kelamity , and music in general and how much I miss it. A conversation I had ran through my mind. "Music is the universal language. "

and it hit me. Music.

Music= exposure.

Give them music and they will come. or so the hope is.

I'm not kidding myself. There is alot to be done, and alot I don't know. There  will be meetings and gatherings, and ass kissing. There will be trial and error, and naysayers.

I say, Bring it on.

I say- there is nothing I can't handle.

I believe.

I believe that people are inherently good, and that they want to help. They just need to be shown how to.

I believe , at the core of it, that this generation -

our generation -

and the ones to follow will be the ones to turn it around.

So, with a blue print and battle plan, I'm going to try.

It needs to start somewhere.
