What a morning.

And what a week. What a fortnight, even, but for now, let's just focus on this morning.

So, my truck decided to stop working. Not getting any power, the lights are all dim, so I figured it's probably the battery. Mom ran to a mechanic to buy me a new one while I walked baby sister to school. When I got back home, mom showed up with the new battery, and it starts to rain. So before I switched the battery, I had to push the truck back into the garage in the rain, in my work clothes. Go figure that a pick up truck is pretty heavy! Anyway, then I switched the battery out, started the truck up, and it seems ok, so I started to go to work, two roundabouts and two stalls later, I figured it wasn't just the battery. So, I drove the truck to the mechanic, stalled many more times, and left her there for the day. Talk is that it'could be the alternator, but my uncle said he had the same problem with his car last year, and it turned out to be the chip in his key, which would make alot of sense as I use two seperate keys to do the job of one. So I'm waiting and seeing.

So to get to work, I had to drive the Mom-mobile, which is like a golf cart on it's last legs, so my knees sit at about chin level. Just as I get in to Mandurah, the storm really kicks in, and it starts to downpour, with lighting and thunder and all of that, which would have been no problem for me, except that a Coke truck has blocked off my entrance to the parking behind my shop, so I had to park elswhere and walk. So I got drenched to top it off. And the shop is leaking.

Perfect day, for a perfect couple of weeks! //5 But really all I can do is laugh at it, I'm hardly even annoyed. Days like this make for funny stories. As long as the truck doesn't end up costing me so much it messes up my trip to Manila, I'm fine. Here's hoping...Time for some Jazz music, it's a rainy day.
