My sister is doing a semester-long term in the Middle East this fall (I'm very excited for her). Her school has a 4-1-4 system, and for whatever reason she doesn't think it would make sense to go back for a January interim class. Instead, she's thinking about staying in the Middle East and potentially volunteering in Israel?
Can anyone suggest a nice month-long Israel volunteering option/program that might take a fabulous non-Jewish 21-yr-old American? This is not my area of expertise, but I trust you my friends to know more than I do.
