(no subject)
So I was supposed to study real hard today, but it seems that the world is against me and so I'll just write my thank you post now, since I cannot concentrate anyway (I've been staring at my Empiricism vs. Rationalism notes for the past one and a half hours and I have progressed all of one paragraph).
Like I said yesterday so many people were involved in this that I'd be hard-pressed to thank everyone involved. Uhh so if I didn't include your name it's because you mean so much to me that I don't need to name you since it is so obvious okay :D
Foremost, Hubert / Hoobert / Hubbert / Pubert / Mr Calbee, because you're the awesomest, most responsible director I have ever met. Well, most responsible without getting on people's nerves. You've taken charge when neither Melissa nor I were there, staying back late into the night with the actors to do an intense start-stop after the abysmal first tech run. For that I salute you, and I'll buy you lunch someday after blocks. Anyway, cookie, for all the effort you have put in, you deserve to keep the Best Play trophy. We'll wrestle with the Faculty teachers if need be, but the trophy is yours.
Melly, for giving us such a kickass script to work with, and for coming down to help out when you can. Yes, we antagonize each other like Berkeley and Johnson do, but whatevs, it all worked out in the end. Also, mmm... cool, minty bliss...
Zhonghan, for risking your parents' wrath and your scary polo teacher's anger by helping out. I hope you're happy with your prize, because you really, really deserve it, and you are an awesome actor alright, Disney or not. Who would've thought that a dumb jock like you could also act, eh!
Atiqa, the P.L.M.S.D., who missed many soccer training sessions with Lynette & Friend, so that you could be the marshmallow to Zhonghan's hot chocolate. You've upheld the Apollo tradition with your amazing talent. I hope that one day TIT or Ivan will take notice of you and <33 will happen... but in the mean time, just enjoy your curry puffs la (:
Akilan and Goujun, even though you guys didn't win the supporting prizes, know that a lot of people came up to me to tell me that you should've gotten it. And personally, I think you two deserve best actor and best actress too, because the roles you played weren't merely supporting roles, they had entire stories to tell, in their own right. So don't be disappointed, because it was a most pleasurable and rewarding experience working with you!
Jethro, for being retarded all the time and staying back with us to help with L&S. (Or not, because there wasn't any sound) Still you made rehearsals a whole lot more interesting, and I think when I look back 30 years on the one thing I will remember about DF is porridge and Herman Miller chairs.
Jialin and Shion, for always being there and being ready to support us whenever we needed anything, from props to sets to food. (OHYAH MELLY YOU STILL OWE ME ONE ICE LEMON TEA) We've been very demanding in terms of deadlines and stuff, but you guys came up with the most brilliant set, so kudos to you for that!
Alfred, for sacrificing your mugging time to accompany us, as well as helping us out with the direction. I hope you're happy with our awards, and you'd better be, for all the time you have put in to help us. This belongs to you too, dood!
The rest of the fac comm, for being lollerific and coming down and blasting music, but also for going out to buy icecream. I CANNOT BELIEVE YOU GUYS CHEATED ME OF MY BREEZER. But still awesomecakes, teehee. Also, thanks Choojun for your amazingly ridiculous ploy of photocopying the tickets. I cannot believe that you would go to such lengths, except you should've just charged $7 since you are effectively working on the black market??
Yiyong and his gang of set-movers, for being waalao damn efficient and moving things around. Science class leh!!! Not bad, you have restored my faith in you guys :D

Without you I'd have died, gone mad, or killed a few people, but you are the voice of reason and hence you have prevented me from going to jail.
