mta strike fun
yesterday i calculated my walk to and from work and realized that it was roughly 11.5 miles. ELEVEN AND A HALF MILES. it made me sort of proud and then it made me drink.
it wouldn't be so bad if it wasn't fucking DECEMBER. but it's sort of nice to know that other people have to go through this misery with you, and that we're all just sort of sucking it up and doing it. but really, if i didn't have my ipod i would probably start punching people on the brooklyn bridge (by the way, i'm horrendously afraid of being suspended over freezing churning water, fyi)
