Nick Hornby (one of my top 5 authors of all-time) writes a review of Heartbreaker, the first (I believe) solo album by Ryan Adams (one of my top 5 all-time desert island singer-song writers). If I ever decide to tackle writing, REAL writing, I can only hope to compose with a quarter of this man's grace, his wit, his taciturn charm, his verve and his, his art.
