For a laugh

This was just forwarded to me by a board member for the opera company.

I'm still giggling...

*fit of giggles* you know... sometimes I REALLY miss theatre.

Although I don't miss the time i Fell Off The Stage In The Middle of My First Scene during Opening Night

Oh dear. I'm inclined to ask what happened, but not sure if I should.

I fell off the back of an 8 foot platform once, landed right on my butt. I dusted myself off, walked back on stage and did the scene as if nothing ever happened. Only after I walked off stage, did my actor friend point out that I had split my dress all the way up to my tushy. Nice.

*clings*

*chuckle* it was, like twelve years ago - doing Noises Off! - I was Poppy and the scene had me leaping over one of the other actors... unfortunately she laid down closer to the edge of the stage than she had Every Single Rehearsal - so I landed on the edge, toppled off, and kept running across in front of it and climbed back up like it was supposed to.

Oooo *laughs* nice 'Wardrobe Malfunction' ;)

*glomps*

Dude. You pulled it off perfectly! You're a natural at improv!! That's fabulous. Noises Off is hysterical and absolutely insane.

Have you ever seen (or heard of) All In The Timing? If not, you should definitely lay your hands on a copy of the script. It's out of this world funny!!

*preens* It is, though, I loved it :)
I have to admit, though, probably my favourite was a cold-read during finals (the other's acting partner was a no-show and he needed to do his scene) - where I was an insane shrink who played with a toy dog on her desk... I wish I knew what that was from, it was so much fun :) hehe

No I haven't heard of All In The Timing *writes it down* I'll see if I can't find it! ;)

*glomp* so how you've been?

And the dreaded question... what ever happened to the potter/parker story? ;) *duck and cover*
