I'm back...
Alright, I admit it: I've been slacking. It's not because of not wanting to post; it's the lack of time in a day that makes it difficult to say the least. I'm still recovering from a cold, only operating at about 90 percent at this point. I'm teacher-trainer extraordinare, with yet another teaching venture happening later this week (I really need to learn how to say no).
Things, all in all, are going well.
I'm also behind in my reading. The district is having a book study this year, regarding diversity issues. It isn't so much the book itself that has all of us excited, but instead it's the ability to talk about something that has been on the back burner for close to 8 years (or longer for all I know). I'm suppose to be through chapter 5 by next Wednesday and I'm stuck on chapter 2. Grrr... I'll get there, somehow. It's already the second copy of the book I'm trying to get through. I don't know what happened to the first book; I think the general abyss that I call my desk area ate it. I really need to clean that.
Mental note for next deadline: CLEAN DESK AREA!!!
