Yes, I understand the importance of copyrights, but perhaps you need to ponder that when fans make vids, it's for love, not money. By sharing their love for your product (film, TV show, etc.) they encourage others to watch it, too, thus ultimately increasing your bottom line.
Fans also make the world more fun, something that, judging by your attitude toward the Internets, you could use a lot more of.
