I gave birth to a pair of alien snot sinus infection babies today.
It was pretty effing nasty and almost made me puke....I thought you'd like to hear about it.
Speaking of babies....I've been married for 8 years and haven't had any. This has been very intentional...in fact, I'd say it's been goal numero uno. This apparently can piss people off.
I was recently around some 'aquaintances' that I haven't seen in a while and the first thing they always ask me is when I'm having kids....I gave them my usual smarmy answer and figured I was done with that convo. One of their satellite friends went just about psycho crazy on me because I wasn't fulfilling my natural calling or some bullshit like that. That didn't end well...don't really know who that guy was, but I think I convinced him to keep his opinions to himself.
Speaking of people that piss me off.....I've decided to be more accepting of others and not being as harsh as my "lent" sacrifice. I don't really do the whole Catholic thing as a rule, I surely don't do church, or not eat meat on Fridays....I really just like setting challenges for myself....but giving things up is too easy. I've got solid willpower on forcing myself not to do things, it's the doing things that I find difficult.
Speaking of sacrifice....I'm fixing to sacrifice myself to the gods of 'work is done, get the hell out of here and get a daiquiri'. Yeah...that's what's i'm gonna do. Peace out.
