swimming, swimming in the swimming pool...

i havent done a real update for a while, and i figured now would be a good time as any...

yesterday i went to hurricane harbor! i drove all by myself while ashley cohen drove sam, nancy, and ken. we spent two hours driving and waiting in line to get their tickets (i already had mine, but im a good friend) using the coupons in my season pass book. some complications occured, so nancy, ken, and i had to stand in line again while ashley and sam got lockers. there were two little kids in font of us who reminded me of blonde versions of scott and allie. the boy kept hurting his little sis and she kept laughing. then when he'd stop she'd cry, so he'd hit her again. (yeah weird, i know) eventually he got fed up with her and threatened to maker her "feel the wrath of [his] blueberry juice!'' after that bit of entertainment, we entered the park, racing to the cool (temperature-wise) uriny water. it was tons of fun though. ashley, sam, and i got major height on the tornado, resulting in what was most likely a record scream by yours truely...

after going on all of the rides except for the skinny ones that you dont use tubes for, we spent over an hour in the lazy river. ashley had fun throwing sam's shoes and then making him swim for them, nancy and ken had fun doing whatever they did, and sam and i had fun checking out the hot lifeguards and the few hot guys that were there.

theres some pretty crazy people at hurricane harbor, however. like the 'pregnant' bald  asain who licked his hands and then put them on my intertube on the way into the lazy river. sam saw him do this, got equally grossed out, and suffered the same fate. then there was that guy and his friend who kept checking me out. i usually dont notice these things but a) the guy kept staring at me and b)sam noticed too. we kept seeing them too. 8 times. sam counted. i didnt think they were cute (plus they looked around 20) but sam thought he was okay. then there were the weird guys in line for tornado. one had some weird rash on his back and elbows with pimple like bumps...very gross. another guy had hair on his back in random patches. the last weird guy was spotted by sam in line for the bamboo racers. he had back hair and "was looking [me] up and down" *shudder* for once i was glad to miss such a display of...whatever it was.

at the end of the day we returned our intertubes and i saw mike, the hott guy i always see working when i go there. sam said he was too short, but im short, so its all good. he even smiled and laughed with me when some lady got confused. i probably sound either really cruel or really sappy for saying that, but i dont care. if mike smiled at you like that, you'd act sappy as well.

we then went to in-n-out. ashley didnt know where it was, so i led the way, and i didnt get lost. im so proud of myself. we got back to my house and they collasped on the couch from exhaustion while i started my sat homework.

today was pretty boring, sat tutor, reading, and tac. pam, a family friend, came for dinner. while bringing the salad and dressing to the table, the dressing slipped and while trying to save it she broke the salad bowl. so my mom made another salad. then after dinner as we were cleaning up, pam went to put the dressing away and it slipped and broke on the floor. lol. she said it was fate

now im sitting in my hot room (since our air conditioner broke and wont be fixed till next week), watching the olympics (ian thorpe is hott, so is peter van dem hodenbong or however you spell it) and  fretting over the shot im gonna get in order for them to put me to sleep while they take out my wisdom teeth tomorrow. note how im not afraid of the pain of the teeth (that havent even surfaced) being removed, but afraid of the shot needed for them to do it. im such a freak.

love you all,

mandy
