A couple of days after Cordelia and Elizabeth came home, Will comes down the stairs from his room and starts to search the house for Orlando. He has something to ask him, something he's been building up the courage to do for days now. Orlando looks up with a grin, then oofs as the dog barrels him over and he lands on his arse. "Will! Save me!" He giggles and rolls over, barking back at Benji like a maniac.

Will laughs and claps his hands to get Benji's attention. The dog runs over to him, but he braces himself for the attack and manages to stay on his feet.

"Your dog's insane," he asys with another laugh, craning his neck back to avoid Benji's searching tongue.

Orlando snickers as he rolls to his feet. "What's up?"

"There's something.." He stops long enough to nudge Benji back toward his owner, then runs a hand nervously through his hair. "I have a favor to ask of you, but if it's too much or you don't have time, just say no. I'll understand."

Orlando gives Benji a shove towards his water dish and as the dog thirstily laps away, he grins at Will. "Do I look like I'm really busy?" He snickers. "Just ask."

"All right." He shoves a hand in his pocket and pulls out a ring - the ring. "I was going to give this to Elizabeth, for our engagement, but after everything that's happened, it doesn't seem right anymore. I thought, if you had some time, you might know of a jeweler around here that I could go to. To find her something better."

Orlando's eyes widen, then he laughs.

"You thought I'd say no to shopping?" He throws an arm around Will's shoulders. "You are definitely not giving Miss Elizabeth a cursed ring, and I am definitely going to help you!"

Will gives him a relieved smile and nods. "Thank you. I had some money with me when I was brought here, but I'm sure it's nothing anyone would accept now..."

"Don't worry about money. I'll take care of everything. Now, what did you have in mind? Diamonds? Colored stones? Gold? Platinum?"

"I don't know. I figured I'd just look and see what caught my eye. But I should pay for it somehow. It doesn't seem right to let you buy my fiancee's ring."

"We'll work that out," Orlando assures him. "You can pay me back somehow but for now, the lady needs a ring to claim her!"

Will smiles at him, pleased. "Yes, she does. And not this one."

He drops the original ring back into his pocket. "Besides, we may still need that one to get us back, if we ever decide to return."

Orlando pats Will's back. "First things first. Are you ready? Because I need to change clothes. Benji got pawprints all over me!"

"I'm ready. Unless he got some on me, too." He looks down at his shirt and brushes away some grass, but it looks clean underneath.

"You look fine! Won't take a minute." Orlando runs inside and upstairs, and quickly skins off the dirty clothes to replace them with clean. He glances in the mirror and tries vainly to plaster his hair down again, but gives up after a moment and retrieves a bandana instead.

He checks his wallet for credit cards, then grabs his keys and dashes back downstairs. "All right! Let's go!"

"You know of a good place?" Will asks as he follows Orlando to the door. "Someone with a good selection? Preferably one that doesn't include anything cursed?"
