It's the most often quoted passage from the Eluine Cycle. I thought, given recent...travails, it was poignant.

I think it's apt, I really do.

I.. was actually attempting to try to figure that out without seeming rather rude. I'm Martha Jones, a warden here and a Doctor in the infirmary. Apologies, I've been rather not myself for the last... week or so.

I believe that's an understatement, my lady. I'm Imriel nó Montrève, also a warden.

I think a fair number of us are from times or areas where we don't really do the honorifics thing. It's much easier to be just... yourself. How are you finding life on the normal, every day barge?

I don't think I'd mind seeing those times.

To be perfectly honest, I've been spending a good deal of my time in the library.

We might see them as of yet. We made port in New York long ago. Modern New York from my time.

And the library is a fantastic place to spend time.

I saw New York on a map. It's in - North America, isn't it? I don't know that continent. It doesn't exist on my world. Or perhaps it's yet to be discovered.

Yeah, it's in North America, but I'm normally from London, England.

Pictish? Nah, my family came from Africa long after they'd gone.

Africa? Forgive me, Martha, some of the maps I studied were confusing. Is Africa the name of one nation?
