Headcanon & Personality
BACKGROUND:
Hina Kaizoku is the sixth member of the USloids, an overseas group of UTAU based in the United States. While she is the sixth member, Hina was officially the seventh member in the group to have her system activated, and as such she's always felt a little bitter of having been passed over in favour of the seventh USloid Churi Jakune.

HEADCANON:
Hina isn't what you'd call the healthiest UTAU by any standards of normal systems. As she was being upgraded to an Act 2, complete with an append, her system glitched up by rewiring her personality programming instead of her vocal programs. With a perfect system, Hina would have been able to switch between append and normal form with no change in personality, but with the glitch Hina can only switch to her append when certain emotions; embarrassment, sadness and love fuel her. Along with the glitch, Hina also obtained a yandere virus that embedded itself on her code which would activate instantaneously to the one she felt a crush for or even lusted after. Though her yandereness has yet to surface to it's true intent, those who do witness it will likely have a formidable foe to reckon with. She of course isn't aware of her yandere or append side of her personality, making her a literal ticking time bomb.
PERSONALITY(IES):
Hina with a big heart for adventure on the high seas thanks to her pirate themed software is cheerful, outgoing and not afraid to make a new friend or two. She isn't a perfect pirate either as she's terrible with reading map and giving directions, plus she's a tad of a clutz, always saying the wrong words which in turn make her appear stupid. Her heart my be into adventure except when it comes to singing and the like. Hina does not consider herself the strongest program in the USloid series, and thus her singing is not above par. At times she'll feel jealous towards her USloid counterparts for getting the spotlight of attention while she gets the shadows. Hina strives to grow to be a better UTAUloid in the process in her journey through life and was the reason that she set sail for a new horizon. She hopes in time on her journey she will improve and one day be able to face her group as an equal instead of the weak singing program she currently is.
She may not be afraid to make a new friend, but she has a few trust issues to deal with first before she can truly call them a friend of her. She hates when a stranger starts asking too many personal questions, a trait Hina finds rather nosy and a nuisance. If bothered by too many questions, Hina will clam up and turn aggressive in her speech, telling a person to shove off and mind their own business for a change. Particularly, if you keep hounding her about wanting to sing or specifically what her relation is to Zanda Kurane she'll start to outright ignore you even exist. Afterall, her personal business to deal with is of no concern to others. She likes to collect information on her various acquaintances as well, but don't expect for her to return the favor and hope that she'll dish out some gooey gossip about herself.
SOFT.EXE: In append, Hina poses a complete different personality. She's more open and engaging as she'll have the mind state of a six year old child. Her append personality is ever so curious, sometimes even dropping her guard and revealing info about herself that her normal form wouldn't. Whatever was private wouldn't remain so any longer if her append form was hounded for the information. Aside from being engaging, her append side is a tad shy to newcomers and is somewhat of a crybaby when given the chance. While in append form, the person whom she's fallen for will receive special attention and find themselves with a clingy Hina attached to them.
YANDERE.EXE: Hina's yandere side is another matter and a far greater cry from Hina's normal and append personalities. Her mind becomes obsessive over the one she's crushing on, convinced this person is her sweet forever. She'll do anything in her power to win the person's heart, no matter if it means slaughtering off her rivals and friends to seek the means to her goal. Jealousy is a big issue with Hina's yandere side and as such will stalk her beloved day and night to make sure he isn't interested in another girl. Unlike most yanderes, Hina's obsession is quiet and she keeps her undying love a secret from the world. It is said she has a hidden shrine tucked away devoted to the worship of the one she truly loves.
