the candida diet

It is SO hard to follow this thing.  so many different diets are listed online, and the one that i've been going with has said I can eat berries, non fat yogurt, and grass fed meats.  others have said NO fruit or red meat and also they say I can eat legumes which my diet that I've been following says I can't.  I don't understand, and I don't get how I'm supposed to get enough calories to not starve myself by eating ONE serving of meat a day, eggs, and veggies.  Also they all say to go off birth control, which is frustrating to me because I went on it so that I could stop having cysts. or at least prevent them from forming.  so now I have no idea about whether I should stay on the birth control or not.  maybe by eating healthier I'm avoiding cysts anyway but I think that's all hormones and not affected by diet.

I don't know.  I emailed the doctor who gave me the information to begin with and his diet is the one I follow, so hopefully he can direct me to the right path.  I'm getting bored eating the same thing over and over again and since I don't know if I can have berries I don't know if I should even go buy more at the store today.  I feel like I am always hungry, and a lot of times now when I stand up from having been on the couch I get super dizzy and almost black out.  I lost 4 pounds in one week, which is insane by my standards (I only usually lose 1-2 if I'm working out all the time and watching what I eat, and I'm not even working out now!)

Does anyone have any experience with this diet?  If so, please email me or comment or something because I've only been on it since last tuesday (june 30) and I'm already worried I'm eating the wrong things and starving myself.
