ok this is too awesome.
the band I play with, Red November, has gotten hired to play the Lone Star Rally on October 30 in Galveston. This is a HUGE biker rally that attracts something like 40,000 people. The headlining band is Fall Out Boy. I played a gig with Red November last night, and they asked me if I could come down from DC to do that show with them. um...let me get this straight: playing for 40,000 people and playing two sets before Fall Out Boy? Um, HELL YEAH I'll do it!! This is insane. Oh plus this gig pays like...one week's worth of pay for me. I think. anyway it's super awesome.
movin' on Thursday, gettin' hitched in 3 weeks, Greece right after, Flight of The Conchords May 6, and settling into new townhouse may 14. and going to NOI May 29. and battle of the bands may 24. exciting summer ahead!
