[Veronica has finally gotten used to the idea that she isn't going home anytime soon. So since she's stuck in this place, she's going to make the most of her time here

[Evenings tended to be boring for Sandrath. The humans and other supernatural beings around him needed their beauty sleep, so working on his side project was a no go.

The fallen arch-angel was wandering around in a few layers of clothing, the outer of his attire which resembled priest robes. He turned in to the taven for a mug of ale or anything that would kill the time. Not like he needed it...

He spotted Veronica and rose an eyebrow, quickly flashing his black eyes to get an understanding of what he could be dealing with before approaching.]

A lovely evening, isn't it?

[Veronica gives Sandrath a quick once-over, eyebrow raising ever-so-slightly at the outer layer of his clothing as she takes a sip of her drink.]

Oh yes, quite lovely indeed.

[He chuckled slightly before stepping closer. He gestured to the seat beside her.]

May I join the lovely lady for a drink?

Well of course, make yourself at home.

[Veronica stands up and leans over the bar to grab another glass. She slides it towards Sandrath and gestures with the bottle.]

Want one?

[Moving to take a seat beside her, he glanced over his shoulder with a small grin.]

If you're willing to pour me one or I can do it myself.

Allow me.

[She pours him a drink and tops her own off before setting the bottle down on the bar between them. She has no idea what it is, but damn does it kick.]

Thank you.

[He tipped the glass to her before taking a sip.]

So, are you new to the Keep?

No problem.

[She raises her glass in return.]

Relatively new. I've been here about a month.

I see. Are you enjoying the place or with the majority on wanting to leave?

[He sips his drink casually and leans against the counter with an elbow.]

It's not too bad, actually. But I still want to go home.

[Veronica takes a small sip of her drink, turning so she can lean back against the bar.]

[He chuckled slightly.]

Of course. Home sweet home, to be with family or deal with unfinished business.
