planning ahead
E and I are planning for our Anniversary this year and we have (after much deliberation) decided to go to New Orleans. We will be there 10/30-11/3. Which means we will be in New Orleans for Halloween. Just thinking about all the cool ghost tours, Voodoo shops, and cemetery's we will be able to visit on such an auspicious weekend is unbelievably cool. Plus, the annual Anne Rice Vampire Ball is held at Halloween. This year's theme is the Queen of the Damned, wouldn't that be a dorktastic goth time? I am currently researching haunted bed and breakfasts in the French Quarter and the Garden District, next I will begin the search for the best ghost tours (self and guided) and other local oddities.
