My day so far
I woke up this morning thinking that I might sleep in a little. It only occurred to me at 8:45 that I had to leave the house by 9 to get to work on time. Okay, so that does work. I scramble to get ready but don't have time to fix my daily amount of tea. So it's a juice and water day. Ugh. Oh well. I get to work and things go okay. But I have a nasty headache that I fight all day. I make it through but feel really ADD all day. I left probably 4 tasks unfinished cause I just couldn't focus. But we made sales and charges today, so I was excited. I leave work, start for home and see those strobe lights of red and blue flashing behind me. I know I'm not speeding, so I wonder what's up. Well, it turns out that my tags expired in Nov. and the state chose not to inform me of this. The end result? a 257 ticket. to top it off, my insurance card for Feb has not arrived yet, though the last card expired last week. WTF? Thank God the police officer chose not to ticket me for that. He flirted with me instead. Not really the time, I think, but okay. Then he questions the validity of my DL because it does not look like me. I know it does not look like me. I've had problems at many a store because they don't believe I'm me. Give me a brake, yeah? Again, he lets it slide when I fib and say I lost some weight ( I actually gained weight but lost inches and therefore look differently). I come home and before I even step foot in the house, I hear the kids screaming at each other. Then I find out that the girl child, who has no impulse control, has been playing in our room and sprayed my HaruJuku lovers perfume on herself.
All I wanted to do today was work on some stories and watch Castle. Sigh. Now I just want to curl up in a ball and cry a little.
