Why oh why can't I just flog people when they disobey?

I swear some days I have the most idiotic people in my life, and sadly they work in upper management. Had the City call us at work today to tell us that the garbage bill had not been paid in over 4 months. Really? How hard was that to actually do? And then they screwed up initially by telling us that it was the water bill that they forgot to pay, which then got my asst. manager yelled at cause our landlord knew that bill was taken care of.
I love having days off. They're so wonderful.
