Rules: 1: Pick five fandoms. List them in alphabetical order.
2: Visit
this site to find your first RANDOM POEM OF POWER. Write down the 5th line (yes, even if it's an E.E. Cummings poem and you wind up with an apostrophe). Repeat five times and - you guessed it - list 'em in alphabetical order! (No cheating, mind! This is a challenge and it's always been about creativity.)
3: I think you can see where this is going. Write a very quick 50-word half-drabble for each fandom (try to do it all in one sitting - make your brain explode!), using the line from the poem as a prompt. You don't have to include it in the half-drabble - it's just inspiration.
4: Bravo! Have a cookie.

(Brothers & Sisters: "And darting down the hedgerow side")
Sarah ran between the houses, using the hedges for cover. She didn’t stop until she reached her own front yard. Now she sat in the dark on the front porch, trying to catch her breath. She had gone to find out; now she knew. Joe was indeed having an affair.
(Happy Days: "standing with rags")
Joanie stood there, the dripping rag in her hand.
“Hey Chach, can you come here?”
Chachi entered the kitchen.
“Do those windows look clean to you?”
“Yeah. Joanie darling, it’s only your parents. Don’t freak out so much.”
“I know, but it’s the first time they’ve come to our place.”
(M*A*S*H: "In your strings is hid a music that no hand hath e'er let fall")
[I know, Winchester is the obvious character for this prompt]
Peg laid on the couch reading a book. She looked up and caught B.J. staring at her.
“What?” she asked.
“You’re beautiful,” he said.
“Um, thanks.”
“As a doctor, I know all that’s inside of you is pink and quite ugly. But it’s hard to believe that’s true for you.”
(Medium: "When Shrovetide, two years gone")
“It’s weird,” Allison said, turning to Joe, “Normally when I have a dream, it’s usually present, or somehow related to the present. But, this time, I feel like it’s all in the past. Like, two years ago. It was this man in a confessional. What can it mean?”
Joe shrugged.
(Supernatural: "Your walls they have witnessed a weariful fight")
“How much can he take?” Dean asked, sipping the whisky.
“How can we possibly know?” Bobby asked. “It’s not exactly like having Beelzebub in your mind is your every day event.”
“Our whole lives are not every day events.”
“And we solve everything else. He’ll deal with it.”
“Yeah right.”
