Wow, it's been a while hasn't it? So much to catch up on. Let me see. . .Mr. Hammond died in February. They said it was because he had a heart attack from his temper. But I think that perhaps if I hadn't been lost in the beauty of the day (I was reading "The Lady of Shalott" which of course Mrs. Hammond found and burned), I may have gotten him his lunch on time and Mr. Hammond may still be alive. Mrs. Hammond left with some very bitter words (she called me trash) and left me in an orphange in Hopetown. Even they didn't want me. The Asylum is the worst place I've been at yet.
Now with all the bad news summarized. . .GOOD NEWS!!!!!! Mr. and Miss Cuthbert want to adopt me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So in a couple of days I will be leaving to go home. FOR REAL. They live in Avonlea. . .that's on Prince Edward Island!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I've always wanted to go there. I cannot wait to go. I'll finally meet my bosom friend. Dreams don't often come true. . .but this one is. I don't know how I'll sleep!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
