RotK:EE..so close yet so far away!
YAY! I actually got my character sent in to FAX2 (Furrie Art-trade Xchange2)! Her name is Tigrienne, and she's a tabby tiger gargoyle. I've drawn her a few times, I can't wait to see what the chosen artist will interpret her as! She's sort of a scruffy, daft vagabond who lives day-by-day in Detroit. I'm very curious about who I will get as my "chosen one" to draw for my half of the art trade. Here's two drawings of Tigrienne: shadowy front side and colored back side I still have to make a decent drawing of her front side fully colored.
OMG!!! "The Return Of The King: Extended Edition" will have 30 minutes of extended film, and 20 HOURS of bonus stuff!! It'll take two days to view the bonus stuff alone (that is if I pause it to allow sleep and bathroom breaks)! I am LONGING to know what exactly they will have us watching for 20 hours. Maybe it'll be some of the stuff the hobbits recorded on their handheld cameras? Or forgotten "making of the film" things at WETA or on set? I'd really just love to see 10 hours of pure chaos, joking, and goofing off behind the scenes...but that's just me.
I stayed at my grandparents house in northern Michigan, on July 25-27. I went up there with my dad. It was ALOT of fun, except for when my dads phone rang every few hours because his girlfriend couldnt stand to leave him alone on his vacation with me for three days.. I confronted dad with this, and he said "well.. I guess she misses me." I should've replied, "I miss you every day since you moved out, but you don't see me calling you over four times every day."..I didn't have the guts to say it, so I just replied "It's annoying.. this is our time together." Bah. Whatever. There's nothing I can do to change it, so I'll just suck it up. In August, my dad's going up north again to visit my grandparents, and he's taking his girlfriend.. and my grandma told me she wanted me to come up there with them. I don't want to, but I think I might do grandma a big favor and go up there to visit her reguardless. You see, grandma doesn't like dad's girlfriend either, and my dad will be preoccupied with his gf the whole time, so grandma needs somebody to talk to. I LOVE visiting her, but the only thing I dread is the 3 hour drive with my dad and his gf. My dad's fine, but when he's with his gf, the mood and the humor changes and he clings to her. Plus they plan on visiting some other stuff in the area, and I dunno if I'm invited to those little adventures or if they prefer to be alone. I think I'll cling to grandma the entire time. Ugh.. rough times ahead.
*head smacks the keyboard in frustration*
In other news.. I'm seeing Peter Noone this weekend! All the Michigan and Ohio noonatics are flocking here. It's gonna be fun :D Concert is at a carnival in a mall parking lot, and the concert is free! Cotten candy..Mmmm..!
