Big Ol' Texas

I apologize in advance for my negligence to resize some of these. Sorry. I'll try not to let it happen again.

I believe this is the way to Texas.

Sunlight fills a big sky.

Robert cleaning the window. My travel buddy with sense complimentary to my own. Two dyslexics- "together we make a man!"

Scary factory town... there were flames coming out of the chimneys and it looked like we were driving through hell.

The sunrise, increasing in beauty.

A grackle! I'd never seen this kind of bird before.

When we found a place to camp in San Antonio, these big ducks were there to greet us. I was bit by fire-ants the very moment I stepped onto the campsite!

The old alpha-male and ducklings.

He knew where the bread was located!

A collapsed Robert.

We went around looking for places to affix toys. It's difficult in TX because there are so many cops around. I affixed this pig to a welding factory.

Affixing a weight-lifting homie to a sign.

Close-up.

This is my lj-friend Orion, whom we had the pleasure of meeting and hanging out with for a little bit in Austin.

We went to a groovy place, a spring-fed pool.

Somebody under the waterfall.

Some of Orion's tattoos.

He is a beautiful person.

My Maxx and me. I'm going to get Orion to model for me someday. Next time, I'll plan ahead!

These are parrot's nests. They now have some wild parrots in Texas.

There are a lot of bad places you can affix a primate. For example, I ALMOST affixed my gorilla to a hair salon, not realizing that it specialized in the hair of African Americans. Fortunately, Robert informed me that this would have been offensive. I do need to be informed, because things that should be obvious don't always register with me!
So we stopped by this cafe in Austin...

And discovered a good place for the gorilla.

And if you would like to see him dance and sing (hopefully this link works).

There's much more to the Texas adventure, as Orion accidentally-correctly predicted car trouble (I don't BLAME him haha). Later on, I will get to posting the pictures from the rest of Texas. It's a big state, Robert.
