Hi everyone,
This is my first attempt at an LJ icon. I hope you all like it. It took a while but I worked out the animation too, so I'm really happy with it:-D

So THAT'S what Image Ready does! OMG, you're my hero! Oh, HOORAY! I can make pictures now! Bwahahaha!

Sorry, I was just in a big hurry to get an animation program, not realising that I already had one, lol. ::throws plans of writing out the window and goes to make an icon::

I know! I wondered what it was for too, but I did a google search on how to do animated gifs and that's what it came up with:-)

LOL! I used Adobe Photoshop. There's a component of it called Adobe Image Ready. What I did was make the frames in Photoshop, save each frame to a folder that only has those frames in it, and then imported the folder into Image Ready, and it animated it for me. It took me forever because with something like this, where the background remains the same, I didn't realise each frame would need to be an entirely separate picture. So everytime I tried to change the writing it would change on all the frames:-) But I worked it out. I also made this Michael/Darren/Paul one but I'm not entirely happy with it because I can't think of a good tag-line for it.
