Catherine pulled the manila folder from a quarantined stack to her left and opened it. Her eyes drifted over the report, Brass's initial notes, and a sworn alibi. The significant other to her victim gave her cause for re-questioning on the details of his relationship to Miss. Ambrogio, where he was, what he was doing and why he chose Febuary 3rd to defy death in an illusion shadowing his girlfriends death.
Bringing the rim of her coffee cup to her lips, she heard a tap on her door. Warrick stood in the opening, eyeing her with concern.
"When's the last time you slept, Catherine?" he asked plainly.
She smiled, took her glasses off and sighed. "It's been a couple hours." she laughed quietly.
"After Karras, you're going home. Got it?"
"Maybe." she quipped, holding the smile.
"He's here, Judy is showing him in."
Catherine pushed back in her chair and stood. She was quiet until she found herself standing in front of Warrick, when he stopped her.
"I'm serious. After the interview, get some rest." he dropped his voice, looking concerned.
She nodded halfheartedly, or at least convincingly enough to get him to drop it and stepped out with him following in closely behind.
Warrick stepped behind the scenes and glanced through the two way mirrored window and watched as Catherine joined Brass and Mr. Tommy Karras.
"Mr. Karras.." she started. "Thanks for meeting with us."
