my footwear hath arrived!

woohoo! i just got the boots i'm actually going to wear for the faire!! they're uber cool and wicked comfy! thank you kaylee and karen for telling me where to find them! they're a little big in the foot region, but nothing a sock and some insoles won't cure! yayyaa i'm one step closer to being a princess!! ...now if only i had the actual dress...

at least you have some sort of garment...last i knew, i had a pillow case with sharpie lines on it indicating where it had to be sewn...guen is gonna be HOT in a pillowcase let me tell you

are you kidding?? that thing was at least two feet short on me from the minute Glory first helped me yank the delightfully luxurious measure of mummifying BURLAP over my mournful, newly-sackcloth-imprisoned head. it barely came to my knees; i suppose it might make it all the way down to your ankles.

but you gotta love the green plastic trim on there. that was priceless.

In defense of the poor defenseless outfit it was all nature fabrics and completely period in look. I don't remember it being too short but most ppl weren't looking at your ankles anyway ;-)
