Project - HELP CLAY has begun
To keep Clay from being killed in his sleep by Miss Kitty, I am once again down in Warner Robins digging through the piles of Paul stuff and sending them on their way to new homes. Also I am working on getting Clay to get a real couch for goodness sake. Some furniture for the living room and a dining room table. He can afford one, but like me is a cheap bastard.
He is sad about the house in Marietta, and I think overwhelmed by the stuff that is piled around him in his house. When I lived with him, I didn't really know for sure how much of the problem I was. Well, I was a little bit of the problem but there is a huge contrast in our houses and how we arrange them.
He is miserable that I am here to help.
He will probably be grumpy and fretful and sad as things leave.
He will also feel remarkably better when a lot of the clutter is gone.
When we were young, I moved us about every six months for quite a while, and I would do major purges of crap with each move. We are many, many years past a serious purge and it is well past time. I will do what I can. I will try and do it in a way that won't make him hate me. I will cuddle him at night and pet his head and tell him things will be okay.
