Virgo Birthdays line up

It's kinda amazing how many Virgo's I know. Yesterday Clayfoot and I went up to Atlanta and took white chocolate strawberry cake to a group Virgo birthday bash. Jess and Cliff, and a whole crush of others all went out for yummy food and belly dancing. Then we went and hung out and ate cake and laughed a lot. It's been a good weekend, and Clay and I have been goofing off. I'm glad he is my friend, and I'm glad we've managed to keep our friendship alive and kicking so we can go hang out with our friends and family without making their lives SUPER wierd. He's an amazing person, and I hope he is always in my life.

We were sitting in cracker barrel and Clay had found a rubic's cube. It's fun to watch him with one of those, you can just see his mind working the patterns. It took him maybe about seven minutes to completely solve the darn thing. I then took it and mixed it all up again. It only took him about three minutes to have it back in perfect order. The sequential logical nature of his mind is pretty amazing to watch in action. Short of peeling off some of the stickers I'm not sure there is a way to even slow him down in solving one of those things. Oh yeah... and he's a chronic baby tickler. We visited the new nephew on his side too.

More virgo madness to go next weekend. More cakes to make.
It's my Dad's birthday tomorrow and I can't decide what exactly to do for him. I might show up tomorrow morning and sing the "You are my sunshine" song to him. Not sure. I love my Dad, and he has been so amazing during this stressful time with the kidlet. In a pinch, when things are tough, my Dad simply shines.

It's all Virgo, all month. I'm an exception in my family, pretty much all of them, including aunts and uncles are Virgo's and Leo's.
