My vacation sort of turned into a medical vacation. I had a pulmonologist visit and some cat scans last week. This week i had spyrometry and nasal scopes and a few other odd ends and bits.
I absolutely beyond a shadow of a doubt have no lung or bronchial problems. That doesnt mean that i never have, but it does mean that its nothing that has been bad enough to cause scarring and my breathing is beautiful.
Been treated off and on all my life for asthma and i dont have it. More of a reminder that medicine is a lot of educated guessing i guess.
However
I do have some weird stuff going on in my sinuses and my nose has caved in a bit. New medicines to try and plastic surgery in my future. But, i still view this as good news. You cant plastic surgery away asthma.
Also diagnosed with acid reflux. New medication.
Also learned that i grind my teeth bad enough to warrant seeing someone for that and jaw deterioration.
I may hit my out of pocket limit this year.
All in all though, i think i came out pretty well on all of this.
