Has anyone else been thinking that the horrific island shooting in Norway sounds like it could have been inspired by "Harper's Island"?

My family watched that whole series on Netflix streaming recently, and I got through it by telling myself how ridiculous the whole plot was.

I really, really hate it when scary fiction turns into indescribable reality.
