lets go investigate!

Today was my 8th grade crushes 20th birthday. I know I know, it's creepy that I still remember, but I was doing out of dates last night and I was thinking, "January 25th, a month since christmas...its the twins birthday tomorrow!" I hadn't thought of him, or his brother in ages.
Today Geoff and I saw "My bloody valentine" in 3D. It was just as good as you would expect it to be. When they make a movie just so people can see it in 3D there isn't a whole lot of hope for the prodject. It was very gory. Apparently the only kind of slayings acceptable to serial killers these days are grusome head injuries. Except to the main characters, who somehow emerge with seemingly unimpressive stomache wonds and arm scrapes. Geoff and I actually had fun discussing one of the plot points afterwards.

TARA: I don't understand how he was able to kill so many people at the hospital.
GEOFF: I know, didn't anybody notice all the noise, or call the police?
TARA: Yeah, and what did he use for weapon to cut that guy in half, and how did he have so much time to cut everybody up? He just got out of a coma, what's he gonna find, a scalpul?!
GEOFF: Didn't anybody scream or anything?
TARA: "You know Mary, Ted's been gone for a long time now, and we keep hearing this strange splatter noise, so i'm gonna go check it out....No, you stay here, if I don't come back, send one person to check on me, and if you hear more splatter noises and nobody comes back, well, send another person, and if they don't come back-well so on and so forth."
GEOFF: " Geez Craige, Mary, Dave, Karen, and Ted have been gone for a long time. I'll go check on them, you turn off the lights and then go take a shower, if you here someone coming in after you, don't turn around, just assume it's me, looking for a good time."

Actually, the movie was better than you would have expected. It was still not that great, but the twist at the end actually kept you guessing until the very end, so the movie deserves some credit.

Things at work are fair. I still like that one guy, but our friendship is very pleasant, so i'm able to shrug off any lonliness most of the time. Plus, considering the statement below, my being too jealous of the guy at work would be a little hypocritical.

In other news, unrelated to guy at work news, i'm feeling jealous and possessive. He was my friend first missy, and i'm going to get him someday. Well...maybe someday. I think I would like that very much.

I'm just a hawk girl looking for her green lantern.

Love,
Tara
