Mother's day
Well, part of Mother's day was nice! I got to spend the morning with the kids which was great (and got to have a little soak in the bath first thing in the morning - rare). I got two cards from each of them, one made at school/nursery and one bought with Daddy's 'help'.
D asked Harry what he wanted to get me for Mother's day and thinking with a 5 year old's mind he said that he thought I would like some Les Miz figures to play with - lol!!! In the end he got me the Les Miz concert DVD (which I had never got round to buying for some reason) and Beth got me the OBC recording of Hairspray. I think D is already regretting that one as Harry just wants to listen to / sing along with / dance to 'You can't stop the beat' over and over!
Harry told me that I was the best mummy in the world. Then he looked at me and said 'well, maybe in the country'. All I could hear was D in the kitchen laughing!
In the afternoon D took the kids over to his parents while I got stuck into lesson planning :(
