His new Clone Wars bike

We had the family round on Saturday for a small party. We had a wonderful time. Harry's presents very much had a Star Wars theme(!) but he was happy which was the main thing :) We got him a Clone Wars bike, and he was also given a Clone Wars helmet, along with elbow and knee pads. He also got his long-awaited Darth Vader costume, and a load of figures. The one non-Star Wars thing was a Fisher Price Digital Creative Studio. He loves doing drawings on the computer so he should enjoy this. He hasn't had time to play with it yet.

After lunch and presents we went out into the garden and all had a massive snowball fight! It was GREAT fun. Harry showed us new Les Miz obsession by pretending that his play house was the barricade and that he was Gavroche. This was helped by the fact that mum had bought him a little hat from a charity shop that looks like a Gavroche hat which he insisted on wearing!

In the evening Beth went home with D's parents and my parents, Harry, and me went off to my school to see Les Miz. After two cancelled performances it was lovely that the kids got to do it again. We are doing Mon and Tue this week to replace the cancelled ones. The show went brilliantly and we got a standing ovation. According to my parents Harry seemed completely captivated by it :)

Thanks to a late night he didn't wake up this morning till around 10.30. We got up and at 11.40 headed up to Xscape where we were meeting two of his friends. It was lunch at Frankie and Benny's and then to the cinema to see Bolt. Lunch was great. We got to see a side of Harry that we don't normally see: him and his friends chatting to each other. The conversation tended to be Star Wars based, but that was to be expected!!! The movie was good, but I don't think we will bother with a 3D film again. Sure the look was great, but both D and I ended up with headaches at the end.

We got home at about 3.45 and at 4pm Beth came home :)

So a busy weekend, but a really good one :) Lots more pics on Flickr.
