A partial snow day

Originally uploaded by WillowFaeSo, today was a partial snow day. Went to school as normal but then got a message from Harry and Beth's school to say they were closing early so I had to leave and go and pick them up.
We had to go and buy Beth some wellies (hadn't got her any before as she is a size 3 and the smallest anywhere seems to do is a 4, and it has never been essential until today) and then it was out into the garden.
Harry had a wonderful time and stayed out long after Beth and I got too cold and came inside. Beth was very unsure at first but did get used to it.
Oh, and thank goodness for Harry's waterproof school trousers!
