Had to go and buy Harry a new bicycle helmet today. This weekend he really got into bike riding, after going out with Daddy on Saturday - just up and down the drive. We realised that his current helmet was now too small.

On Sunday he said he wanted to go out on his bike, so we went down to Tesco - about 20 mins each way. While we were there (just had to get some bread and a couple of other bits) we saw that the new Clarks was open and the kids section was empty (a rare occurance in a Clarks store). So we went in as I knew Harry needed some new trainers. While we were there and it was quiet we figured we ought to just get his school shoes as well and get it all over and done with. So he came away with trainers and school shoes. Just tap shoes to go, and possibly ballet ones because I think they might be too small.

I also got Beth's feet measured while we were there and in 3 weeks she has gone up half a size and down one width. Think this is pay back for her going so long not growing at all!

After lunch we asked Harry what he wanted to do and he said go out on his bike again. So we went to Willen and he cycled from the car park to the playground (his first encounter with a hill which was interesting).

This evening both kids are at my parents and are staying with them till Wed morning. Harry has taken his bike and new helmet with him :)
