I think D ought to go to work early more often!
Usually he doesn't leave home till 8.45 or 8.50. Today he had to be in early and as a result we were all up by 7am (unheard of usually). Because we were up I was motivated to get things done and by 8am I'd bathed Beth, vacummed the living room, swept and mopped the kitchen, hallway, and cloakroom floors, and hung out the washing. All before I dropped Harry at his playscheme :)
