Frolicking, Foraging, and Foosball

Angel will be on soon. It would have been on sooner if it weren't being pre-empted by friggin' basketball. Don't get me wrong, I love basketball, but I would like for it not to interfere with my bloody shows. Anyway, I am ever so excited about Angel , for Faith will be on it, and it is almost more than I can stand. And then in a few weeks she will be journeying back to Sunnydale for to be on Buffy. Also more than I can stand. And what is at the brink of more than I can stand is Wiillow going to LA to be on Angel. I've seen the pics and died repeatedly. If I could just be in the same room with Alyson Hannigan for ten minutes I would be so happy I would die. One might say to me, "Julie, mayhaps you should try to live in this place we call reality. It isn't always bad, and you don't have to worry about vampires." I might reply something to the effect of "Why the heck do you think I am worried about Vampires? I have a stake and a cross. " So you see, there is no hope. I am firmly planted in my alternate reality of choice.

But if one must occasionally live in reality, I suppose I can report on my activities therein. Monday was Damon's birthday, and we played all day. He was very happy with his presents. Then that night David and Susie took us out to Cheeburger Cheeburger, wherein we ate our weight in hamburgers with chopped garlic and yummilicious milk shakes. It was a well birthday, all were in agreement. Well the two of us, and his opinion was the only one that mattered. But it was in fact well. Yesterday I goofed off with Alice all day and then goofed off with Damon and Mandy all evening. And then today I went to Alice's (we're both unemployed--what do you want?) to help her clean. It was actually fun. Except all the sneezing and itchy nose. Dust allergy, don't ya know? Then we went for a walk and a nearly Spring time frolic in a nearby field. I was more a-frolic than she, however. Apparently some people don't like to leap about, looking like an idiot where others can see them. I, as most of my gentle readers know all too well, rarely feel too idiotic to be frolicsome. It is my gift and my curse. :) And now Damon and I are waiting with bated breath for Angel to commence. And I have begun to hunger. Mayhaps I should forage. As for foosball, I couldn't think of another good f-word (now now, let's not go there), but my subject needed three to sound right, so here: I want a foosball table. That should do it.
