dreamy dreams
Last night was a big dream night -
In one I woke up at my ex's mother's house - only it wasn't really her actual house. It wasn't odd that I woke up there, but in getting ready to leave she woke up and came out and there was another guy and she was asking me about mp3 players for a deaf person.
uh huh
The other one was awful - however it made me realize/remember that for numerous nights now I've been having dreams of living in my own home (more on that later) and dreaming of locking the doors up every night. In the dream I was online and got up to shut the doors, but there were a bunch of them and I had to go to the outermost door first then close these weird screens on the interior. I was living alone. I reached the main door, pulled it shut and was turning the lock when a mans hand reached out over mine and turned it. Immediately his hands touched my shoulder blades and slid around to the front under my arms. Yeah. *bad shudder*
I absolutely froze staring directly forward and at the same time woke up with that same shock & terror...and still processing "what do I do - can I do it? will it work?" in terms of how to defend myself.
I had a hard time falling back to sleep after that.
Thing is - as soon as I walk into my apt I lock the door right behind me. ALWAYS.
