So there's this March media blackout thing that's going around, and it bothers me.
And I'll tell you why:
While downloading/streaming movies may very well be directly for when
n you decide 'I'm not going to buy anyhting this whole month' you're not sending a message to the suppliers, you're sending a message to the retailers.
How about you shop at local bookstores this march instead of big chains. They might not have everything you're looking for, and if they don't don't buy it. hows that for sticking it to the man?
support the little guy, even if it means spending a little bit more- to go out to buy a book instead of ordering it online, or they have to chage more because they can't buy as many (which pretty much means *gasp*, paying the cover price.)
I've run out of things to say that make sense.
