Overthinking
On a certain level, sex is like a gun- just because you don't intend to shoot it, doesn't mean you shouldn't treat it like it's loaded. If you have sex, guess what? There's a chance you might get pregnant.
(of course, over thinking it, does that make Gay sex like airsoft? It's not going to kill you but it could still hurt like a bitch?)
Sometimes sewing is alot like life; The instructions can be complicated, sometimes you do things wrong and the only thing to do is to go back, unpick and try again, and if you don't use quality fabric, the end result won't be as good. Not to mention that it's not as scary as it seems at first, and the only way to get it done is to do it.
(Though some people just seem unfairly good at it.)
continuing the metaphor: Sometimes the parts you think are going to be hard are easy, and sometimes the parts you think are going to be easy will be hard. Doesn't matter. It's okay to ask someone who knows more than you for help and or advice.
