Dream Journal

So last night I dreamed Kat and I went to an event. A Pagan event. We'd been promised tables- there were none, so we had to jury rig things. we were NOT ALLOWED to sleep in the selling tent, even though we were allowed to set up sleeping areas behind it.
When the sleeping tent died, Kat very cleverly rigged up a fly using one of Kettle's walls. It made selling a little cramped, but we could do it. So we set about setting up. It rained, but only over our tent, which suddenly started leaking on our bedding. Kat scavanged boards to try and get the matresses up out of the wet- only it turned out we'd only brought one matress.
We kept working. Someoen set up on the other side, taking more than their space. Kat sat down with a book.
I kept working
( note: possible switching of frustration in dream from my needing to stop to rest, and precived irritation from others when I stop to Kat, an outside figure? Dreams are first person.}

Just as I thought that 'yeah, we can do this. This is going to work' On the other side someone ELSE set up- blocking our selling area with one of those huge plasticy white 'garrage' tents. I went over to speak with them about it.
They told me to go away. I pointed out another area they coudl set it up- and that it was rude to block our selling area. They started making 'blah blah lookit the whiney kid' noises. I started yelling, that they were taking more than their area, and if they could PLEASE move their extra tent for a more satisfactory experience for everyone, and they said it was their 'sitting tent' for the evenings to hang out with their freinds, and I should just shut the fuck up, they had every right to be there. Besides, it wasn't ENTIRELY blocking our ugly little tent.

There was room behind it, and they kept making fun of me 'oh are you gonna cry? well there's nothing you can do, because we're not moving. There are more of us.'
and they were smoking and selling this horrible resale lingerie with fringe sewn on it, I have NO idea what they were supposed to be.

And there was nothing I could do, and I had to try and go back and rearrange everything so peopel could see our goods- which were already displayed poorly due to the lack of tables, yes, crying.

that's when I woke up.

work, whine, dream
