And I have added a new page (easily linked from the main navigational page of the W-w site) which contains several essays/cogitations/items of focus dragged from the nigh-forgotten depths of my hard drive, to be updated as I find others and the mood chances upon me. The first is regarding the ongoing lessons of writing, the second on plagiarism.

A quick note on the subject of essays: If you're a reader of such, there are two I've read and would like to share. I'm not one to lightly recommend anything, frankly, and these essays are poles apart in subject matter and intent; yet both are strong and fervent viewpoints, striking in that they not only encourage but demand deep thought and reconsideration of their subject.
The first is a chapter-by-chapter re-reading of the LotR books. It is a lengthy and lovely and deeply personal voyage, and I encourage you to visit fictualities journal. Plan to spend the afternoon in sheer enjoyment.
The other is a forthright, often biting and unfortunately altogether-too-close-to-the-mark manifesto on the perils of fanfic fandom, by Aratlithiel/Daffodil Bolger, HERE
