Y'know, you don't really realize just how big a warehouse is until you spend a week crawling around doing an inspection. And when I say "crawling," I don't just mean "on your hands and knees." I mean "on your knees and one hand, while the other one's dangling a crystal around from a silk cord which is not at all smelly or dusty." With your craft-partner and girlfriend right behind you or right next to you, which is so very not of the romantic when you're both sweaty from non-fun stuff.

Oh, and did I mention the sprinkling of the magic dust? The kind made from really expensive ingredients that you have to make up fresh, like no more than a couple hours before you use it 'cause it loses potency before sundown. And it makes you sneeze. On top of all the other stuff floating around that makes you sneeze.

I'm just glad Tara was able to scribble everything down. Now we've got a good map of all the vulnerable spots of the warehouse--places where the local power flows make us more vulnerable to an attack. Plus we spent a couple a bunch of hours with a bowl of salt water drawing pentacles on all the doors and windows, and then we ran out about halfway and had to consecrate more.

Still, we got some elementary wards in place now. Like the mosquito screen kind. For a place this big, it's gonna take more than just me and Tara, definitely. Guess the magick students are going to be doing some hands-on studying this week....
