Help Haiti
There's a community called help_haiti in which fandom is trying to help out the people of Haiti by offering their varied services in support of this cause.
My dear friend hp5freak has graciously offered to auction off a crocheted lap blanket. Starting bid is $50.
I commissioned one of her lap blankets about two years ago, so I can attest to the amazing quality of her blankets. This is the one I commissioned:
