pili204 wanted to see Ron and Hermione and gave me the prompt "wind".

***
Ron shivered as he climbed into bed and immediately pulled Hermione to him.

“You’re cold!” she squealed.

“Warm me up, then,” he said, pressing his cold cheek against her shoulder.

“Okay, close your eyes,” Hermione said.

Ron raised an eyebrow and smirked, but complied.

“Imagine it’s June at the Burrow,” Hermione said.

“Hermione…” he said opening his eyes to look at her.

“Eyes shut!” she laughed.

“Okay, it’s June at the Burrow,” he said, closing his eyes again.

“You’re soaring over the orchard on your Cleansweep,” she said. “The wind is ruffling your hair…”

“And where are you?”

“Where do you imagine me?”

“I’m imagining you here, in our bed, but with a lot less clothing on, I’m afraid,” he said.

“Ron!”

“All right,” he laughed. “You’re sitting behind me on my broom, holding on tight.”

“My hair must look a nightmare with all that wind,” Hermione said.

“A bit.”

She pinched him and he laughed harder. He opened his eyes.

“You’re beautiful. You always are to me,” he said. “Are we done with the visualizations now?”

“Do you feel warmer?” Hermione asked.

“No, but maybe we can try another idea,” Ron said.

He leaned down and kissed her gently. She twined her fingers into his hair and soon all thoughts of the warm summer wind were forgotten.

Shiiki asked for Ian/Wanda (The Host) and gave me the prompt Halloween.

***
“Ian,” Wanda said. “What did Kyle mean earlier? Something about a spider mask. That’s sort of disguise, isn’t it?”

Ian laughed. “Something like that. You haven’t heard of Halloween?”

She thought hard. “I know it’s a holiday of some sort.”

“My favorite holiday,” he said. “Or at least it was when I was a kid. When I was seven, my mom bought me a Spiderman mask. He was a superhero… ah… a character from a story that fights crime. He had powers…” He trailed off at the blank expression on her face “Anyway. On Halloween you can dress up however you want, and I was Spiderman. My mom said I wore the mask every day for a month.”

Wanda smiled. “I would have liked to have seen that.”

“I’m surprised that Kyle remembered that,” he said.

“Do you miss it? Things like Halloween?” she asked, looking slightly worried.

Ian hesitated, taking her hands. “Sometimes. It’s too late this year, but maybe next year we can give it a shot. Costumes, candy, the whole nine yards.”

Wanda smiled, looking a lot less anxious. “It sounds like fun.”

Ian pulled her onto his lap. “You can be Goldilocks.”

“Who is Goldilocks?”

Ian smiled and started to explain the story to her.

Magikcat112 wanted to see R/Hr and gave me the prompt "pasta".

***
Ron appeared with a whoosh in the fireplace. Eighteen hours at work and he was very glad to be home. He was just about to call out for Hermione when he heard a loud crash from the kitchen. Pulling out his wand, Ron ran toward the kitchen. Hermione was sitting on the floor among a bunch of pots and pans.

“Hermione!”

“You’re home,” she said. “Thank God.”

“What are you doing on the floor?”

“I was looking for the large pot I make pasta in.”

“Do you mean this one?” Ron asked, lifting a pot from the cooker.

Hermione looked up at him, looking exhausted, her face crumbling at once.

“What’s wrong?” he asked, kneeling down in front of her.

“Hugo’s got colic. He’s just barely gone to sleep,” she sobbed. “And Rose kept getting into everything. She got a piece of pasta stuck up her nose, and I yelled at her, and then she cried…”

“Shh, love,” Ron said, holding her and running his fingers through her hair. “Where is she now?”

“Asleep,” Hermione said. “I felt so bad that I gave her some chocolate cake and she fell asleep on our bed.”

“I’m sorry I wasn’t here to help,” he said.

“It’s okay.”

“If you want, I’ll make dinner,” he said. “Or I can pick up some take away.”

“I’m not really hungry,” she said. “But if you are…”

“Any more of that cake left?” he asked. “I’ll do with that.”

Hermione smiled and got up to cut him a piece of cake. Ron waved his wand at the pots and they shot into the cupboard. He sat down at the small wooden kitchen table and Hermione placed a plate in front of him.

“Thanks,” he said, tucking in at once.

“Are you sure you don’t want me to make you something else?”

“’m fine,” Ron said through a mouthful of cake.

A wail split the air and Hermione jumped to her feet, but Ron caught her arm.

“I’ll get him,” he said, pushing his plate toward her. “You finish this.”

Hermione smiled gratefully and Ron left the room to get Hugo. Exhausted as he was from working at the shop and at the Ministry, he was just glad to be home.

This one is for hp5freak. You didn't ask me for fic, but I thought a little Alice/Jasper might cheer you a little. ♥ I used the weekly drabble prompt of "time" from for_forks_sake.

***
“Alice,” Jasper said, as they ran toward the border of La Push. “What’s going on?”

Alice had tried very hard to hide her anguish, focusing only on her anxiety, but it was no use. She would have to tell him. She slowed her pace and he followed suit. There was no time; she could smell Sam and a couple of the other wolves approaching. They were three, maybe four, minutes away.

“We have to leave,” she said. “Bella thinks there are others like Renesmee in South America. If we find them, the Volturi will have no choice but to believe us.”

“Leave?” Jasper said. “But…”

“We’ll leave this note with the pack,” Alice said, handing him the page.

He read it and looked up at her in confusion. “But why?”

“Aro can’t find out about this,” she said. “He knows not to question Bella. And no one else could hide it. They can’t know that this possibility exists.”

“Will they believe it?” Jasper asked quietly.

She knew he didn’t mean the Volturi.

“Yes,” Alice said, finally allowing her grief to overtake her.

Jasper held her close, trying hard to hold back his own emotions. But she knew he, too, couldn’t bear the thought that their family believed them capable of abandoning them.

“What’s the plan?” he asked.

She heard the rustling in the trees growing closer. “No time. Follow my lead.”

Moments later Sam stepped out of the trees followed by Jared and Paul. They approached Alice and Jasper warily.

“We seek permission to travel through your land,” Alice said. “We need to get to the ocean.”

Sam looked at them thoughtfully for a moment. “We’ll take you there.”

“Thank you,” Alice said. “And if I could ask just one more thing of you. Our family will be here in the morning to look for us. Could you please meet them at the treaty line and give them this note? I’m sorry. I know it sounds very strange, but it’s imperative that they read this.”

Jared and Paul looked confused and slightly indignant. Sam frowned, but nodded. Alice handed the note to Sam, who tucked it in his pocket. “Follow us.”

They ran off toward the coast. The dark had set in and the moon shone bright overhead.

“Thank you,” Alice said to the pack when they reached the beach. “Please don’t tell Jacob you’ve seen us until you talk to Carlisle.”

Before Sam had a chance to answer, Alice and Jasper leapt into the cool waves and swam hard against the tide.

hpchickadee and queenb23more, I didn't have a chance to finish yours this weekend. But I will have fic for you later in the week... once I sort out that stupid paper of mine. Sorry, my dears. ♥

I wish you all a good week. Mine is probably going to be stressful and I'll probably be very grouchy. So I'll try to steer clear if I'm feeling bad. Love you all! ♥
